Orchard Belldir
At Mr Brown's orchard, Frankie encounters a herd of deer and an extraordinary great stag wearing a bright ribbon and a little silver bell. Curious about where the deer have come from, he begins looking more closely at the orchard and the old Belldir Estate beyond it.
Old maps reveal that the orchard was once much larger, before roads and cottages changed the landscape. Frankie begins to wonder whether the deer are visitors at all — or whether they are simply following paths their families have travelled for generations.
