Welcome to Belldir
At the heart of Frankie's world lies Belldir Estate, an old country estate beyond the village, where orchards meet woodland, forgotten paths wind between the trees, and the past is never very far away.
Once, the estate stretched much farther across the surrounding countryside. Its farmland, woodland, orchards and cottages were all part of the same landscape. But as the years passed, the village grew, roads appeared and the old orchard became smaller.
Some things, however, seem to remember.
The deer still follow paths travelled by generations before them. And among them is a great stag, distinguished by a bright ribbon and a little silver bell.
This is where Frankie's adventures begin.
But Belldir is bigger than one story.
Its estate, orchards, woodland and surrounding countryside form a world that will continue to unfold as Frankie's adventures grow.
